The following resolution has been accepted by the Board of Directors of Software in the Public Interest.

Whereas

1. Software in the Public Interest promotes use and development of free software,
2. The Software Freedom Day is meant to celebrate Free and Open Source Software,
3. More information on the Software Freedom Day can be found at the website www.softwarefreedomday.org.

The Board resolves that

1. Software in the Public Interest fully supports the Software Freedom Day,
2. SPI encourages all its members to participate in said day
