EU-wide Debian trademark
Whereas
- The Debian mark is an important piece of intellectual property;
- The Debian project wishes to protect the mark;
- The DPL has authorised expenditure for registering the Debian mark throughout the EU;
The SPI board resolves that
- Neil McGovern may proceed with registering the mark 'Debian' though a trademark solicitor with the Community Trade Mark system.
